February's Chili Nights will be a set menu of jollof rice with either meat stew or fried bean cakes. Served with creamy coleslaw and fried plantain and as always, your first drink is included in the ticket price!
Chili Nights is for everyone who fancies a night out without the noisy crowds or wants to break the relentless routine of deciding what to cook and spend ages washing up.

Grape Expectations - Christmas Special
The new wine tasting evening begins this festive season!
Grape Expectations is a jovial, interactive evening designed to help you think about and discuss wines in a new way. With some guidance you will be encouraged to chat with the other guests about your opinions about the selection of wines without any judgement!
Fear not! You will not be leaving with an empty stomach! There will be different tapas type courses served with each wine to keep you fuelled throughout the evening!

Hygge
The ultimate cosy event!
A toasty, chilled evening of comfort food, mulled cider, hot chocolate, and homemade bakes.
We try and have a bit of the hygge atmosphere all year round at our little café, but this evening will be concentrated on embracing it to the fullest. This is your evening to enjoy a hearty dinner without breaking the bank, or quietly read a book whilst enjoying a warm hot chocolate surrounded by fairy lights.
The evening consists of a set menu of either soup with homemade bread, or a baked potato with chili and cheese and of course, the first drink is included in the ticket price!

Cooking The Books
Of course we had to kick off the cosy season with the cosiest book of them all: The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien!
A classic from 1937 that many of you are already familiar with, but can experience in a whole new way in a toasty café away from the busy streets, tasting the food that the characters from this iconic novel would have enjoyed.
If you are not too familiar with this text then fear not! Some helpful links will be added down below in case you can’t get round to reading the whole thing.
