Speed Plating
Fighting the loneliness epidemic one cup of tea at a time!
At The Old Station Yard Café, we love the sense of community that is created by our customers as they chat to each other across tables, finding common ground and learning from each other. We wanted to help aid this by creating events specifically for those who want to chat to new people and make new friends, so we invented Speed Plating!
Speed Plating is our three course social brunch. You will be welcomed with a cup of tea or coffee, and as you move through your brunch courses you will get to talk to different people and hopefully make new, meaningful friendships!
Speed Plating will be returning in 2026! There are, however, other lovely events to enjoy in the run up to the festive season!
